We celebrated a half a century with Uncle John at a place to make him feel young at heart. An arcade, pizza parlor and mini golf! Although personally, noisy flashy, busy places are not my idea of a way to feel young, we had a good time. The kids all worked together in the arcade to earn tickets and bought a giant monkey as their prize.
Cousin Dave, a college buddy and some friends from town made the party list.
I think visiting some ancient ruins for my 50th might make me feel young at heart. Or at least being in a quiet place so I didn't spend the hours wondering if I was losing my hearing as every conversation had to be repeated over the din of the place.
